As we begin a new sermon series through Acts 16-19, we will look at how the unstoppable gospel of Jesus Christ continues to turn the world upside down today. From city to city, Paul and his companions proclaimed Christ while facing opposition, but they also saw lives transformed and churches planted. In the first sermon of our series, we looked at Acts 16:6-40 where the sovereign God saves both the likely and the unlikely. God is the one who brings people to Himself, directing and leading His mission of salvation. People are saved by God’s grace alone, not by works or good conduct. God opens hearts to receive the gospel. God saves unlikely people in unlikely places and under unlikely circumstances. Let us then seize every opportunity to share the gospel - with family, colleagues, or even strangers. Let us press beyond the boundaries of our comfort zones to proclaim the gospel to both the likely and the unlikely.
